Abstract

Zur Auskondensation von Wasser aus Brennstoffzellenabluft sind in heutigen Flugzeugen zwei Kühlkreisläufe vorgesehen. Gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Wassererzeugungssystem zum Erzeugen von Wasser an Bord eines Luftfahrzeuges angegeben, welches zur Kühlung des Brennstoffzellenabgases Kabinenluft verwendet, welche durch die Druckdifferenz zwischen Kabinendruck und Umgebungsdruck durch den Kondensator gesaugt wird. Umfangreiche Kühlkreisläufe oder Pumpen sind nicht erforderlich.
The water production system on board of an aircraft, comprises a fuel cell (108), a condenser (101) for condensing water from an exhaust gas of the fuel cell, a discharge opening (102), a perforated separative element, two separate openings for extracting the separated water, and an inlet for admitting the exhaust gas into the condenser. The condenser is carried out through air from cabin (105) for cooling of the exhaust gas. The discharge opening is implemented for delivering cabin air (104) to the environment of the aircraft, and has cabin air flow-throughable to the condenser. The water production system on board of an aircraft, comprises a fuel cell (108), a condenser (101) for condensing water from an exhaust gas of the fuel cell, a discharge opening (102), a perforated separative element, two separate openings for extracting the separated water, and an inlet for admitting the exhaust gas into the condenser. The condenser is carried out through air from cabin (105) for cooling of the exhaust gas. The discharge opening is implemented for delivering cabin air (104) to the environment of the aircraft, and has cabin air flow-throughable to the condenser. The condenser has a separation volume for changing the flow direction of the exhaust gas and for separation of water. The separation volume is arranged at a side of the water production system. The water collected in the separation volumes flows through the separative element into a neighboring separation volume. The condenser is implemented as plate-type heat exchanger that has a multiplicity at lines for the transport of the exhaust air. Group of first and second lines is arranged in a first and second level respectively. The two levels are arranged one above the other. The flow direction of the exhaust gas coincides in the first level and the second level and levels arranged below it have another flow direction in opposite manner. In each case three levels arranged one above the other have same flow direction of the exhaust gas. The discharge opening has a cabin-air exhaust valve. The cabin air and the exhaust gas in the condenser flow against each other. Independent claims are included for: (1) a condenser for condensing water from an exhaust gas of a fuel cell on board of an aircraft; (2) an aircraft having a water production system; and (3) a procedure for producing water on board of an aircraft.
